Outdoor Cleaning Services We Offer

We offer six exterior cleaning services, one for each part of the outside that collects dirt, mildew or leaves. Pick the surface you want cleaned.

  • Pressure Washing

Patios, walkways, steps and concrete washed to lift dirt, moss and stains.

  • House Washing

Vinyl and painted siding soft washed at low pressure to remove mildew safely.

  • Deck Cleaning

Mildew and gray wood washed off so the deck is ready for stain or sealer.

  • Gutter Cleaning

Gutters cleared and downspouts flushed before fall leaves and winter ice.

  • Leaf Cleanup

Fall leaves raked, bagged in brown paper bags and set at the curb for town pickup.

  • Trash Bin Cleaning

Garbage and recycling bins washed inside and out, so the smell and pests stay away.

Only the driveway? Driveway pressure washing and oil stain removal is quoted as its own service, for concrete and paver driveways.

How to Choose the Right Exterior Cleaning Service

Choose by surface, not by machine. Hard surfaces take pressure, siding and wood need a gentler wash, and gutters are cleared by hand before they are flushed.

How Our Exterior Cleaning Services Work, From First Look to Clean Surfaces

You send photos or describe the job and we match a method to each surface. If the photos show enough, you get a written quote; if not, we visit first, at no charge. Nothing is booked until you approve it.

  1. Share photos or describe each surface

Text or upload a photo of each area and a close-up of the worst stains or mildew, or describe them, plus your town.

  2. We match the method

Each surface gets its pressure or soft wash, and flaking paint is flagged. If it needs a closer look, we visit first, at no charge.

  3. Get a written cleaning quote

You receive a written quote before anything is booked, with every surface listed on its own line.

  4. Protect, clean and rinse

Plants are protected, each surface is cleaned and rinsed, and anything damaged is pointed out.

Why Homeowners Trust Us With Power Washing Services

Homeowners trust us because each surface gets the right pressure, plants are protected, and the damage the wash reveals is fixed by the same team.

  • Pressure matched to the surface

Concrete, pavers, stone and wood each get their own pressure and distance, so nothing gets etched.

  • Soft wash for siding

Vinyl and painted siding get a low-pressure soft wash that doesn't push water behind the panels.

  • Plants protected

Shrubs and planting beds are wet down and protected before the wash and rinsed again after it.

  • Runoff directed away

Rinse water is sent away from the house, the foundation and the planting beds, not toward them.

  • Damage flagged while cleaning

Loose gutters, soft deck boards or cracked trim found during the wash are photographed and pointed out.

  • One team to clean and repair

What the wash uncovers can be repaired, primed or stained by the same team, with no second contractor.

Which Surface Takes Which Wash on a New Jersey Home

Hard surfaces take pressure; siding, wood and older paint do not. Matching the wash to the surface, and the season to the job, is what keeps exterior house cleaning from causing damage.

Pressure Washing vs Soft Washing by Surface

Pressure washing uses force to remove dirt; soft washing uses low pressure and a longer dwell time. Using force on the wrong surface can strip paint, lift wood fibers or drive water behind siding. Our guide on pressure washing vs soft washing covers each surface.

Handles pressure

  • Concrete patios and walkways
  • Stone steps and stoops
  • Pavers, with pressure turned down
  • Concrete and paver driveways

Needs a gentle wash

  • Vinyl and painted siding
  • Wood decks, railings and fences
  • Windows, screens and trim
  • Flaking paint on older homes

An Exterior Cleaning Calendar for NJ Homes

Mildew grows where siding stays damp: north-facing walls, under big trees and behind shrubs. Spring pollen and fall leaves add a film that holds moisture, so timing each job to the season gets the most out of it.

  1. 1

    Spring

Wash off pollen and winter grime from siding and walks.

  2. 2

    Early summer

Clean the deck before any stain or sealer goes on.

  3. 3

    Late fall

Clear the gutters after most of the leaves have dropped.

  4. 4

    Before the freeze

Flush the downspouts so meltwater has a way out.

Common Exterior Cleaning Mistakes

Most damage from exterior cleaning comes from too much pressure or bad timing, not from dirt. These are the mistakes that show up most often, and what we do instead. For gutter timing, see how often to clean gutters in NJ.

Mistakes that cause damage

  • High pressure pointed at siding
  • A nozzle held too close to wood
  • Stain applied to a damp deck
  • Gutters cleaned before the leaves fall

What we do instead

  • A low-pressure soft wash for siding
  • Pressure and distance set for wood
  • Stain booked only after the deck dries
  • Gutter cleaning timed to your trees

Exterior Cleaning Questions, Answered Straight

These are the questions homeowners ask most before pressure washing, house washing, deck or gutter cleaning. For general questions, read the handyman FAQ.

How much do exterior cleaning services cost in New Jersey?

It depends on the square footage, the surface, how heavy the stains or mildew are and the height of the house. Send photos or describe the job: if the photos show enough, you get a free written quote; if the job needs a closer look, we visit first, at no charge. Either way, the price is in writing before anything is scheduled. Our pressure washing cost guide explains what changes the price by surface.

Is pressure washing safe for my siding?

No. High pressure can force water behind vinyl siding and strip paint. Siding gets a low-pressure soft wash through our house washing service instead.

Will pressure washing damage my pavers or concrete?

Not when the pressure is set for the surface. Concrete, pavers and stone each get their own pressure and distance, so dirt and moss come off without etching the surface.

Can you get oil stains out of my driveway?

Newer stains usually lift; old ones may fade but not disappear. Driveways are quoted as their own service, driveway pressure washing and oil stain removal.

Will the cleaning hurt my plants?

No. Plants and beds are wet down and protected before and after the wash, and rinse water is directed away from the house and planting beds.

How often should gutters be cleaned in New Jersey?

It depends on the trees around the house. Homes under heavy tree cover often need more than one cleaning a year, usually after most leaves have dropped. Our guide on how often to clean gutters in NJ sets a calendar by tree type.

What if you find a leak while cleaning my gutters?

It's pointed out with a photo. Leaking seams, loose hangers and bad pitch can then be fixed through gutter repair.

Do I need to clean my deck before staining?

Yes. Stain bonds poorly to dirt, mildew and gray wood fibers, so the deck is washed, brightened and left to dry first.

Can you stain the deck after cleaning it?

Yes. Cleaning and staining are done by the same team through our deck painting service, so there's no second contractor to schedule.

Should I clean the outside before selling or renting?

Yes, it helps. Clean siding, walks and decks look cared for in listing photos and at a showing. Mention your listing or move-in date in the request.

Still have an exterior cleaning question?

Send it with a photo of the surface. We answer by phone, text or email within 1–2 business days, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
